Mac menu bar app · macOS 15 or later · shortcuts unchanged: ⌘⇧3 ⌘⇧4 ⌘⇧5
One screenshot,several placesat once.
Take a shot the way you always have.A card appears with the places it can go.Tick the ones you want and it is on its way.
Try it. Click ⌘⇧4 on the desk, flip a chip or two on the card, then Send Now. Or let the six seconds run out, the way the app does.
Nothing to learn
How it worksYour shortcuts stay yours.
⌘⇧3, ⌘⇧4 and ⌘⇧5 keep working as they always have. Shotcourier changes only where the Mac saves the file, and puts the old setting back when it quits. Nothing to set up or remap.
Clipboard first, the instant it lands.
The shot is copied before the card even appears, because pasting it somewhere is most of what a screenshot is for. Untick Clipboard on the card and what was there before is put back.
Six seconds to decide.
The card waits six seconds and holds while your mouse is over it. Flip a destination on or off, press Send Now, or do nothing and it goes with the places you ticked by default.
Where a shot can go
Destinations| Destination | Where it lands | What you set |
|---|---|---|
| Clipboard | Ready to paste into a message, a chat or a document the moment the shot is taken. | on the card by default |
| Photos | Into your Photos library, in an album you name, so iCloud Photos carries it to your iPhone and iPad. Through Photos' own door, with no scripting and no second app. | on the card by default album Mac Screenshots |
| Folder | A copy kept in a folder on this Mac. | the folder |
| Dropbox | A copy in your Dropbox folder, where Dropbox syncs it. | the folder in Dropbox |
| iCloud Drive | A copy in iCloud Drive, where it follows you to your other devices. | the folder in iCloud Drive |
| Link | Uploaded to a storage bucket you own, with the public link copied for pasting. No account with us and no gallery anywhere: your bucket, your link. | the bucket: Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3 or Backblaze B2 |
The chips are drawn here as they sit on the card: crimson ones are on by default and go where the shot goes when you do nothing, and which ones those are is yours to set. Shotcourier has its own capture shortcuts too, for a selection, a window or the whole screen, into the same card.
Kept on the Mac, and only there
The Shot Log and privacyThe Shot Log
Every shot the card has seen stays in the Shot Log for a few days, with where it went. Send a kept shot again to a place you did not tick the first time, or open it, or forget it.

Nothing phones home
No analytics, no account, no crash reports leaving your Mac. Shotcourier makes one kind of network call: the Link destination's upload to the bucket you own, and only when Link is on the card. Everything else happens between your Mac and the places you picked.
Screenshots stay on the Mac except where you send them. The Shot Log is a file on the Mac, readable by you alone. The privacy page says the rest, in six short sections.
The beta
The first build is in testing.
Shotcourier is running on a handful of Macs right now, finding its edges. When it is ready for more, this page is where it will be, with a build to download. There is no list to join yet and nothing to buy yet; check back.
